Presentation Title:

Results of dopplerographic studies of the uterus and ovaries after ligating 3 pairs of uterine vessels in patients with obstetrics hemorrhage

Abstract

The aim of the study was to study the blood flow in the uterine and ovarian arteries of women after ligation of 3 pairs of uterine vessels. The primary group consisted of 41 women who underwent ligation of 3 pairs of uterine vessels, while the control group consisted of 25 patients without pathological blood loss or organ-preserving surgeries. The volume of pathological blood loss was 2.7 times higher than in the control group (p < 0.0001). PI and RI in the uterine arteries (UA) were significantly higher than in the control group (p < 0.001). Volumetric blood flow decreased by 18.2% in the right MA and by 22.6% in the left MA compared to the control group. The uterine arterial perfusion index was 30.2% lower than in the control group. PI and IR of intraovarian blood flow were slightly elevated (p<0.05).
