Title: The influence of syphilitic infection on the growth and development of the fetus

Abstract

During the ultrasound examination at the gestation period of 7-9 weeks in the studied groups of women, the thickness of the collar space was 1.5-1.6 mm, the yolk SAC was 4.4 -4.6 mm, the size of the coccyx – 54 -56 mm, without significant differences with the control group. Pathological processes detected in decidual tissue in the form of foci of fibrinoid necrosis and leukocyte infiltration of stroma were detected significantly more often in groups I and III of women in comparison with the control group. Pregnancy in the early stages, accompanied by syphilitic infection, when conducting ultrasonic studies have been no structural changes, but they are available when carrying out morphological studies of abortion material.
 

Biography

Natalia V. Matyskina defended her doctoral dissertation in 2021, the profile of her interests is congenital infections, modern methods of diagnosis and prevention. He works as an associate professor of the Department of Polyclinic Pediatrics and Propaedeutics of Children's Diseases at the Krasnoyarsk Medical University.
